Summary
HI-ZEX MILLION? is an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene that was originally developed by Mitsui Chemicals. The average molecular weight of HI-ZEX MILLION?, ranging from 500,000 to 6,000,000, is incomparably greater than that of ordinary polyethylene. Because of its outstanding properties, HI-ZEX MILLION? is used in a variety of fields: electronic material, industrial material, medical equipment and food manufacturing, etc.
HI-ZEX MILLION?’s density of 930-950 kg/m3 is one of the lowest among engineering resins, and can decrease the weight of the product. In addition, since HI-ZEX MILLION? does not absorb moisture, HI-ZEX MILLION? is not subject to swelling or hydrolysis, and preliminary drying is unnecessary before molding. HI-ZEX MILLION? has a broad range of grade lineups, including hygienic safety grades conforming to FDA specifications, to meet a variety of needs.
